Jeff’s Car Purchase Stories

Stories of Jeff’s car purchases and deals he made. Starts with his first car purchase from a dealer in 1977. Ends with a used car purchase in 2019 and a new car purchase in 2025. After, COVID, car purchases were no longer (much) negotiable.

After this time, we didn’t continue buying 4 door sedans. Even though they were declining in popularity and would be less expensive, they were getting harder for us to get in and out of. Thus, we joined the bandwagon and bought SUV’s after this. Also, after COVID, car manufacturers didn’t create an oversupply of vehicles like in the past, so, at least for popular models, discounts were not as prevalent as they were prior.
